Nimbu - Panel skirt - vatika turquoise
Nimbu - Panel skirt - vatika turquoise
Tradition and innovation, ancient and contemporary, East and West. From this blend was born in 2003 Nimbu, from an idea of Uberto and Susanna Spaghi. The love for the East and for fabrics belongs to the family: the relationship with India began with the father Uberto, who in the 70s and 80s was among the first to explore Indian textile skills and culture. He established true relationships of friendship and trust with the suppliers with whom his daughter Susanna continues to work today. The centuries-old block printing, hand spinning and weaving, tie-dye, are just some of the incredible techniques used in the collection. Nimbu is fresh and elegant, simple in its lines but rich in rare fabrics and precious embroideries. Nimbu garments are mostly woven, printed and embroidered by hand.
